Why the Sudden Breakup?

Let's break it down for you. Amazon, with its high costs and ridiculous fees, is like that friend who always conveniently forgets their wallet when it's time to split the bill. And don't even get us started on their return policies. It's like trying to return a pair of shoes that have already walked a mile in your shoes. Not cool, Amazon, not cool.

Communication Breakdown

And what's the deal with not being able to talk to our customers directly? It's like being in a game of telephone where Amazon is the annoying middleman who keeps messing up the message. We just want to have a direct line of communication with the people who love our products. Is that too much to ask?

So, after much soul-searching and late-night conversations with our team, we've decided to part ways with Amazon. It's time to spread our wings and fly solo. We're ready to take control of our own destiny and forge new paths without the Amazon baggage weighing us down.

But fear not, dear customers. We're not disappearing into the abyss. You can still find our products on our own website, where we can offer you better prices, more personalized service, and a direct line of communication. It's like breaking free from a toxic relationship and finding true love in the form of our own online store.

In the last few months, we have had several customers buy our products, and pay expedited shipping costs. We get it there in plenty of time, only to have the customer file for immediate return for <enter reason making it our fault>. Amazon charges us for the return shipping then gives a 100% refund. The problem with this is, the product that is returned to us is not ours. So now we have to file a claim with Amazon. We have to explain in detail what happened and why what we received is wrong. we have to provide photos, but here is the catch, If the product you received is even similar, Amazon will not work with us. we dont get our restocking fees, we dont get our lost shipping costs, we not only lose the sale, we lose the shipping costs both ways, so now we are upside down in the sale, even if we follow the rules and seller support agrees with us, the Amazon teams that handle these claims just basically flip through an deny everything no matter how detailed your claim is. 

Recently, it got to the point where we were spending more time fighting claims then working with customers. So we made the decision to remove our products from Amazon. You will still be able to find some of our products there, but they will be listed and handled by some of our long time retailers. 

We are always able and willing to help our customers directly. We have seen in the last few years that customer services is a dying art. We would much rather try to work with you to find a good solution that works for you, then have you unhappy and wanting to return. So please, use our website. We have nearly all of our products listed with few exceptions. If you cant find it here, call us. our number is all over the website. Do you need help after hours? No problem, send us an email or a chat message. it might not be immediate, but we will respond as quickly as we can. Do yo have a waterbed emergency? Call our main number and leave a message. We get emails about messages within 3-4 min of you hanging up. Our system even transcribes your message into text, so we dont have to log-in to listen, and whatever phone number you are calling from is included as long as your number is not blocked. If you say you need help, we WILL call you back as soon as we are able. We can answer your questions, give setup or draining tips, guide you to repair parts, we can do everything but quote prices and place orders for you on weekends or holidays. 

We are here to help you, and we will work heard to earn and keep your trust. This company was founded in 1987 by a Navy Veteran, and run by the same team for pretty much that entire time. most of our office staff either grew up here, or has been here for most if not all of the 35+ years we have been in business. We have the experience, and the knowledge to help you find the right fit for you.
